In the spirit of rider safety, the FVA is holding certification programs to ensure all riders are familiar with the track, track bikes and track racing.
FVA Certification classes will be held at Brian Piccolo Velodrome:
Monday Jan 6, 2020 at 6pm, 7pm 8pm and 9pm
Wednesday Jan 8, 2020 at 6pm, 7pm and 8pm
Wednesday Jan 15 at 6pm, 7pm 8pm and 9pm
In cooperation with the FVA, Top Step Cycling will be hosting the FVA Track Certification class on Friday, January 10 at 6pm.
Florida Velodrome Association will be hosting many track activities from training sessions, mock racing and actual race events. This program is necessary for ALL riders, experienced or novice, prior to attending FVA or other organization programs held at the Velodrome.
Again, ALL events require participating riders be certified for everyone’s safety. If your home track has a certification program, the home track can send the FVA a confirmation letter/email in place of FVA Certification.
FVA’s Track Certification class is a 30-40 minute safety and information program covering specific details on the Brian Piccolo Velodrome as well as track bike safety and etiquette while riding and racing on the track with others. Each attendee will receive a Certification booklet and will be registered as FVA Certified for track safety.
